I keep hearing on CNN/MSM/Fox guests, et.al., offering as evidence that they were educated on our tax dollars, are doctors, are teachers, are professionals.

I'm serious dammit where can I find information on what these illegals do or don't do for a living?.

Does anyone have any demographics of % employed, % HS diploma, % criminals, % etc.? I've tried to find something reliable, but can't locate anything.

Did they get a visa? Did they become citizens?

Ive wondered the same exact thing, if these people consider themselves contributing members to the American society, then why haven't they pursued citizenship?

Not from what I know. That's part of it, but I just want to know how all of these clowns on TV know what jobs these illegal aliens that came here as children?

Because the last POTUS gave them a free pass when Congress was too cowardly to address the question.

People who hire illegals in any form, DACA, VISA jumpers, etc., are I-9 violators.

Mostly they are Rhodes Scholars. A few of the slackers are doctors, lawyers, scientists, etc.

Free pass to live here, but why not follow the proper procedures to become a full fledged US citizen?

Do DACA young adults have US passports? Valid US IDs? Voting Registration cards? Without being an official US Citizen?

Because you have to be a legal resident to pursue citizenship.

If you're undocumented, you can't apply to become a citizen.

Exactly. This thing is quite the mess. Last night, I talked to an acquaintance who is on DACA. Dude is so Americanized that I had no clue he wasn't a citizen. But basically he is completely screwed. His parents moved here when he was a young kid, and they registered him for DACA. He went to an American college and was even hired by an American company. Apparently, acknowledged illegal is a bit better. But he now says that when his DACA expires (two years), he will have no choice but to go to Mexico, a place he has never really lived. The lawyers at his company told him yesterday that they cannot employ him once his DACA expires. And then he is barred from applying for citizenship for another 10 years.

While on DACA, you cannot apply to be a citizen. And most people on DACA are children who had no say in the matter. Really just a horrible policy that resulted from our nightmare two party system.

I must say that I didn't see the big deal here until talking to someone actually affected that had no say in the matter.

Last note, was that many people applied for DACA because it came with a social security number. So it makes sense why these parents made what ultimately seemed like a bad decision. Short term solution that was a long term dead end.
