Is this what you say into your microphone on Bourbon street?

God have mercy, the Right shows its insane unhealthy obsession everyday. So now, someone is criticized for not using fricking Twitter. We really do live in a nutty world. Do you guys have anyperception of reality other than Right vs Left.i Isthat your only experience or thought day to day? I’m sorry for you, in a way. How about just trying to enjoy God’s gift of life in the greatest country in the world.

True Christians don't celebrate Christmas.
Disagree. Every Christian celebrates Jesus's Incarnation. True, we don't know exactly which day/date Jesus was born, but we've set aside Dec. 25, to commemorate the Event.
quote:
God did not approve of it then, He does not approve of it now.
There's no way you could know this.
Don't let inconsequential things get in the way of fellowship with other Christians. This is why I hate religion, but love Jesus.
It's all about a relationship, not religion.
quote:
He has not changed.
This is true.

It's about the obsession of viewing life only through the
political lens of right vs. left and the apparent need to find a new outrage everyday.

Glad to see your anti abortion stand because if we're celebrating life then you have to defend the life of a fetus. It's a living, growing life inside another human.

And?
So, the actual date of Christ's birth is unknown. Over time, folks in charge in Rome reworked the a meaning of an existing holiday to accommodate changing times. They reassigned that day with a new "reason for the season".
How does this diminish Christmas? It still celebrate the birth of Christ, and usurped a previously "pagan" celebration. Sounds like a win for Christians.
On a similar note, early Happy Martin Luther King Day to you.

So now we have to proclaim Merry Christmas on twitter less we be declared enemy combatants in the Great Holiday Wars of the Early 21st Century?

Barron can't (or doesn't) sign in cursive? My grownish kids didn't learn cursive, either.
Weird times.

Righties despite humanity because it involves caring about other people.
Wrong.

This should shock no one: conservative donors to charity have radically different views about the reasons for giving than their more liberal counterparts. A new study by a team of researchers from Rice University, the University of Texas at San Antonio and Pennsylvania State University shows that the unyielding political split in the U.S. does indeed apply to philanthropy as well.
Republicans’ moral foundations are embedded in respect for authority and traditions, loyalty and purity - so says Rice University Professor Vikas Mittal, co-author of the research paper, which will be published next month in the International Journal of Research in Marketing.
On the other side, Democrats’ moral foundations are rooted in equality and protection from harm, says Mittal.
