Funny how the retarded, racist fool didn't mention Drew Brees or Tom Brady. I wonder if they would agree with this mouth breather's idiocy?

Eh, this is what happens when old rich white guys give hundreds of millions of dollars to a black guy who could only get a high school diploma because he was good at basketball

See your post is just intellectually dishonest. You make this statement like you making some kind of point to me:

quote:

They get paid what their value is, and live a lifestyle in accordance with it

Ignoring the fact that I made this statement in my OP:

quote:

Lebron, those of us regular white working class people are glad these players are getting paid well and living good lives to entertain us on Sundays.

quote:

I'd say most of them are entirely sympathetic

Only because they spew leftist bullshite. Y’all certainly dont hold any kind of sympathy for everyday successful people who own businesses.

the owners could put regular joes onto the playing feilds, and fans would eventually forget the fray, while they go back to what makes them watch, "Their" favorite teams.

If "regular joes" started taking the field in the NFL the league would be finished. The next group of billionaires would fill the void in another league with actual talent in relatively short order.

I disagree with LeBron's general sentiment and delivery, but you have to be deluded to think talent doesn't drive professional sports and you could subtract it from the equation and move on...if "we don't need you" were the case superstars wouldn't be getting these contracts to begin with.

Im not sure who lebron is appealling to with this sentiment, other than base racism, and to what end? he may be exactly right, however its hard to garner sympathy for multi millionaires being treated shitty by their bosses, when most have that same experience for far less income and a much less lavish lifestyle.

Does Lebron not realize it works the same way in regular jobs too for the average working white man? Don’t do what the company owner wants you to do and you’ll find yourself unemployed. Only difference is that a regular person isn’t going to have a contract will millions of dollars in guaranteed money that has to be paid off if they get let go.

Here is my question for Lebron: he no doubt has many people on his payroll for all types of jobs. Does he let them disrespect him? Does he take a vote to see what the collective feel about it, or does LBJ tell them what to do, and if they don’t do it, he finds someone who will??

I’ll bet he does the exact same thing he’s pissed the owners do. It’s not a white/black/yellow/brown thing. It’s an ownership thing. He who pays the piper picks the tune.

I haven’t even touched on how despicable it is to compare actual slaves to millionaire athletes with a choice who live the dream life of 90% of America. Way to minimize people being treated as property while upping your own offended score.

That may be true, but it doesn't make what I posted about less likely.

This explains why 50/52 super bowl winning QBs have been white. Damn racists.

Lebron is just pissy that he will never be as good as Larry Bird.

Strange, being that they have a players’ union and negotiate the terms and guidelines of contract structure. What local were the slaves members of?

Or because 90% of them came from nothing and, believe it or not, the majority are good people

A minority are scum

Just like the rest of society

But hey, if you think Julio Jones, Mark Ingram, Derrick Henry, Amari Cooper, Calvin Ridley, Ryan Kelly etc aren't "sympathetic", I don't know what you mean by that

Fact.

Look at how the left despises successful, conservative black men like Sowell or Carson. You really get to see how racist white liberals are when you mention their names.
