I think that is bc boys/men are not the weaker sex so we tend to not fear a women pretending to be a boy/man.
Example: my son is 6'2 and about 170-180lbs. I am not going to worry about his roommate being a girl pretending to be a boys.
But if a boy/man the size of my son is pretending to be a girl and sharing a room with a typical female of 5'4 120lbs , that is not ok. The female is in a unsafe place

Very small number are trans. However, kids today see it as edgy and cool to be supportive of all things LGBQT. Anyone who objects is ostracized or charged with discriination by the school. Thats why Riley Gaines is attacked when she is invited to speak on campuses.
