There are so many avenues. Iirc, the investigations started with her personal shopper and high end clothes. LINK

Then her affair with Vappie became the subject of an investigation. Primarily because Vappie was getting paid overtime to have sex with her in the city owned apartment and overseas.

You know shady shite happened with the garbage contracts after Ida and now Sidney Torres is getting a taste of his own medicine when his contract was canceled due to different corruption.

I know there’s more. I haven’t even read the indictments yet.

They will probably get jurors from the Northshore or the Bayou area. Or if they move the case to another area, they may get a totally independent jury that has never seen the news stories of the mayor and her lover.

That is probably why the indictment was 12 out of 16. There are probably 4 jurists from Orleans parish.

Some one ought to be writing a script for a Hollywood Romance movie.

The choices were terrible between Latoya and Charbonette so voters had a choice between different types of corruption. It was going to be bad either way.
