The largest tank farm in Russia? Lawd have mercy that's tinker toy for the US. Using Google satellite view to measure diameter of the 50 or so tanks. It's 1.5 million barrels capacity. ConocoPhillips Clifton Ridge Terminal which receives imports for P66 refinery in Lake Charles is almost double that size. If your are just blending on the fly and pumping out right away, that tank farm works.

I wonder where Russia stored excess crude oil in 2020? Here in the US companies were looking for any place to store crude with all the refineries throttled down or completely shutdown. They were almost desperate enough to use bathtubs.

I don’t know much about the oil/gas distribution systems, but that is what I was hinting at yesterday. Sone parts have to be key. I was wondering if Ukraine was successfully hitting the key parts.

Key Takeaways Russian MiG-31 interceptor jets violated Estonian airspace on September 19. European officials continue to discuss the creation of a defensive “drone wall” and provide military support for Ukraine following Russia’s violation of Polish airspace on September 9 to 10. The Kremlin continues to reject blame for the Russian drone incursion into Poland’s airspace. Russia is reportedly using joint energy ventures to sell military equipment to Vietnam and evade Western sanctions. Russian forces continue to commit war crimes in Ukraine, including executions of civilians. Russia continues to censor critics of its war in Ukraine, including critics of Russia’s handling of the Ukrainian incursion into Kursk Oblast. Russian forces advanced in the Kostyantynivka-Druzhkivka tactical area and in eastern Zaporizhia Oblast, and near Lyman and Novopavlivka.

Russia continues to stir the pot in Eastern Europe, and they continue to commit war crimes. We just need to understand them better.

Why would anyone think Russia would violate a neighbor’s air space? If you understand how Russian’s think you’d know they would never do that.

Zelensky: Trump can influence European governments, buying Russian oil

20.09.2025 17:53

President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that U.S. President Donald Trump is capable of significantly influencing the governments of some European countries that continue to actively buy oil from Russia.

The President announced this during a conversation with journalists, according to a Ukrinform correspondent.

"For our part, we are working with European countries to encourage them to increasingly refuse Russian energy resources. But ensuring this is a very difficult process. The main thing is the result. I believe that, on the contrary, if President Trump takes serious steps, he will push some European countries that are involved in the energy economy with Russia," Zelensky said.

In his opinion, Trump is capable of significantly influencing the governments of some European countries on the issue of energy resources, because “everyone looks up to the United States.”

"We believe that, for example, the Slovaks will be close to this. Everyone looks up to the United States, in my opinion. Orban cannot remain alone. And it's not just Orban or Hungary, by the way. Hungary and Slovakia. Some other countries also provide the infrastructure for all this, for Russian energy resources," the President said.

Ukraine's Security Service and Special Forces strike Russian oil pumping stations with drones

Olga Katsimon — Saturday, 20 September 2025, 16:19

Long-range drones of the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) and Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck oil pumping stations on the Kuibyshev-Tikhoretsk pipeline in Russia’s Volgograd and Samara oblasts on the night of Friday 19-20 September.

Source: Ukrainska Pravda, citing its sources in law enforcement

Details: The pipeline is used to export oil through the port of Novorossiysk.

Sources report that fires broke out at:

Zenzevatka station (in the town of Zenzevatka, Volgograd Oblast, Russia)
Sovkhoznaia-2 station (in the town of Progress, Samara Oblast, Russia)
Samara linear production dispatch station (in the town of Prosvet, Samara Oblast, Russia)

The Ukrainian drone attacks have halted operations at the stations and stopped the pumping of oil.

Quote from the source: "This infrastructure generates petrodollar revenues for the Russian budget that fuel the war against Ukraine. Efforts to cut off these cash flows will continue."

How many minutes of a fully armed military jet from a hostile country intruding in another country’s air space is needed for it to be considered not “absolutely nothing”??
