You need an understanding of contracts and accounting and not just autistic computers skills to do a proper audit.

It is second tier when they quadruple count a contract and it appears there is no review process in place before publishing the "receipts".
DOGE is an admirabel goal. The results have been sloppy and riddled with errors. I'll remain very skeptical of any and all "receipts" they post as they have proven to be unreliable narrators.

He hasn’t released a single detail. Hasn’t said who benefited from this waste and fraud or who engaged in it. He’s just tweeting out “found another 76 zillion dollars in payments to unborn babies” and that guy who only posts tweets posts a thread with the tweet and 4 pages ensue of MAGAs who make fun of anyone who wants to know who the fraudsters are.

As a computer nerd of a slightly different flavor then what Elon is doing I can attest that the above is true but with an obvious caveat
You're right. The computer nerds are really good at flagging stuff that looks fishy. And inevitably some of the things that get flagged won't actually be fishy and the people that know the details will see that
But as the guy who does the flagging in my organization I can tell you that the people who know the details don't know frick all about how to find the problems. There is absolutely nothing wrong with flagging a few too many things when the alternative is not finding any goddamn thing
