With all of the discussion on foreign oil, thought it would be informative to post a few graphs of where we are right now.

You are celebrating gas going up to over 5 dollars?
Posted on 3/3/22 at 2:19 pm to Mickey Goldmill
Perfect!
This makes me feel better about rising gas prices

Go play in the street

I'm sure this is making low income families, who are taking a significant hit on their expenses, feel much better about rising gas prices and inflation.

My how the goal posts move.
He's celebrating the US being energy independent last week. You know, like we were under Trump - when it was still a good thing.

Thanks
I was worried and frustrated about paying nearly $4 a gallon to gas my car up and my soaring therm cost for gas to my home but I feel a lot better now after seeing this.

Thank you.
Just in the last couple of hours, there have been threads about our energy independence. That is what my thread is about to inform some misinformed people.

So Trump was the greatest?

Ok. Now that you've done what you feel is your sacred duty, people are rightfully asking: when are we going to see this at the pump?

So Biden is tanking and just trying to be like Trump now? Makes sense with the no mask charade at the sotu.

A chevron about 1 mile from my house is at $5.77 for premium. Diesel is a little over $5

this is sad.
dont ever complain about being called a shill.
net imports dropped at the fastest rate ever until Biden takes over, now they are rising for the first time since 2005 - but you post a graph that goes back to goddamn 1990 to "show us" that Biden isnt that bad in a broader historical sense? As if that fricking matters when people in Blue states are paying 6 per gallon?
And the other graphs only show upside on goddamn "projections". GTFO Mickey.

I was in Death Valley, California Sunday. Try $7.50.

Good luck with that.
I was considering tackling the idea that inflation is actually caused by the increased money supply due to the quantitative easing the Fed has been doing for the past 12 years.
But that seems a little too nuanced. I'll just stick with "Biden did it!!1!"

When the media asked about getting 10% of our oil from Russia, Psaki says in effect "we cant stop buying from Russia cause it'll make US prices go up". The same administration who shut down gulf permits and killed keystone. Guess how much domestic oil production is down since Biden took over? 10%
You are all lying trash.

Can you define "tanking" in more specific terms?

Thankfully the “adults” are now in charge.
Posted on 3/3/22 at 2:39 pm to Mickey Goldmill
Yes, let's act like this as a good thing while oil production is down. Morons.
