It's a needless risk. The Defense was obliterating the prosecution,... the State was face planting itself into the sidewalk. Why throw a lifeline ?
1st I'm hearing that Kyle, 17 at the time, didn't have a license yet routinely drove HIS OWN CAR ( or one his parents gave him, what ever ) to work. That's red meat for the prosecution and any mouth breathers on the jury who may yet be undecided.
Downvoters likely think that it was cool when Republicans saved Biden's BBB bill too. Go frick yourselves.
