How can anyone who has seen the video of Kyle that night think that he would get rattled up there? He'll probably chew up and spit out these pathetic ADAs

It's not even about him getting rattled. This just gives the DA a chance to warp anything he says and use it to poison the situation. If he does get rattled, he might be fooked.

To me Kyle sounds strangely unsure of the events he was involved in. I would think they would want him to be more definitive and confident in his answers. It makes it look like he's struggling to remember everything and casts doubt on his memories.

That certainly is a prosecution strategy, but there's a fine line whereby the prosecutor can easily turn the jury off by attempting to deceive the witness and unfairly twist otherwise clear points. That is also a very dangerous trap for the prosecution.

i mean if you're telling the truth the prosecution will end up tripping themselves up
They tried to trip up the photograph guy and he stuck to the truth and what happened and that photographer made the ADA look like a complete fool.
Can Kyle do the same? We shall see once the ADA gets to cross.
