So, please explain to me, what exactly did this "advantage" do for my family?

This dumbass has bought into the whole "if you're white, you are privileged bullshite.

Most people who buy into this are either taking a sociology class or were brought up in an upper class family and know nothing about the real world.

No, you don't. Simply because you've been taught so. How old are you? Less than 25 I'll bet.

Explain how we don't have it.

assuming that you're white, your grandparents' choices for work was their decision based on circumstances. Whether or not those circumstances were unassisted by their lack of education is both their parents' fault or their (local) government's fault, considering that's who ran public schools back then. Anything beyond that is likely their own fault. But, make no mistake, there is dignity in all of work, whether you get paid less for being female or not. Wait, I hit another speaking point! Why are women paid less than men? Mostly because they've been in the work force for less time. Wait, is that fair? To both points, no it is not! Am I making sense to you? Why are larger percentages of black people poor in America than white? Man, is that a multi-layered answer. But, it all stems from inequality. As a white male, I have historically had economic, societal, and shite even religious freedoms longer than any other race (or females for that matter). Historically speaking, do you not think that creates a natural divide? How do you close that divide? Equality. Equality does not happen over night, folks. It takes generations (to die off).

This is the most ignorant, hypocritical shite I’ve read all day... holy shite dude

in my case, you're generalization is entirely wrong.

based on your comments, I can call you an actual elitist. But, I try not to generalize.

Wrong. You don't have enough knowledge to be an adult.

Also, it's your

Your whole point about "historical advantage" is based on generalizations. In fact, it's 100% generalization.

I already have. For the basic:

White Americans = 242 years of freedom, but let's use the same notion that black folks weren't exactly free after the Civil War and say 168 years.

Black Americans = 132 years of freedom (using the same as above, 58 years of "American freedom".

So, there is over a CENTURY there of inequality to put it plainly.

*This does not take into account at all the economic disadvantages for any race.

You are dealing with individuals, most born since integration.

Your stance is nothing but one big generalization.

What the frick does this have to do with now? What does any of that have to do with making your life right in the present day? If you’re being held back by something that happened 60 years ago, you probably wouldn’t be successful even if a fricking bag of money fell from the sky and hit you on your dick

I really don’t understand your mindset man. So many excuses, and none of the excuses are even close to being a factor on if you are successful today or not

When you consider what Europeans immigrants did to the Native Americans, a party themed as "Cowboys and Indians" in 2018 is not only insensitive, but it's completely ignorant.

Oh I know. Because native American Indians slaughtering their next closest rival wasn't savage at all. What European immigrants did isn't even on the same level.

No. A progressive society is about control and punishing those who dare to think for themselves. If your assertion was true, people wouldn't be pushed out of liberal bubbles, like academia, for expressing a conservative opinion.
