abolish the Revenue Act of 1913 - get govt out of marriage altogether - it would also effectively end the IRS and income tax - perfect timing with the establishment of the ERS - External Revenue Service -

I agree. It is a contract. But a contract is a legal document. A legal document only has any validity by it being recognized as enforceable as such by the government. I don’t see how you can say you want the government out of marriage but also recognize marriage is a contract

See my post on page three of this thread. It’s being downvoted, for some reason, but it simply shows that SSM support is roughly similar in approval to a whole range of issues in contemporary America (i.e., around 50/50).
