Now you're conflating PC. We were discussing PC for search warrants. Your above example is PC for an arrest.

Similar to the MAL search scenario. The issue being discussed yesterday was the PC for the search.

This new allegation of planting evidence would relate to the PC for the later arrest. While it uses the term "probable cause", it's not really directly related to the search aspect of the case.

In no way was the worst possible interpretation of this event in any way a threat to our democracy. It would be Trump illegally possessing national security/classified documents after his term in office, with some possible obstruction during the investigation.
