Don't know KM, but Sturgill generally doesn't inject politics into his songs outside of being anti-war (same as Dixie Chicks, and I'm with them), but he's so good that I have a lot of leeway with that kind of stuff. Though I'd have said the same about Jason Isbell, then he put out that turd album whining about being white.
ETA: I posted that before seeing the previous post. Isbell is a huge bitch, but his wife is fine and he's a phenomenal talent. Amanda Shires probably has a side piece that pulls her hair, doe.
