I have Malinois'.
Their "on" switch sometimes gets locked in the "on" position and it's almost impossible to turn off. Their mouth is a weapon of mass destruction. They need daily intense activity (I'm 70 and do ten miles trail running every day with them) and constant training. They are very willing to kill or die protecting you.
I would not recommend the breed to anyone who is not an extreme Alpha and really fit. If not, they will destroy you.

I have a mal mix rescue. DNA says 45 mal, 10 gsd, 23 pit. 13 stafford and 3 Doberman. I don’t know what they were trying to make. Looks primarily like a mal without the mask. Works hard but not as driven as pure blood. And he’s not a climber yet, which is fine with me. Very protective, very loyal
