Just watched Part 1 of the A&E Trump documentary

Very well done. Good art direction and sequencing. A bunch of good interviews. Hannity and Roger Stone were both on there. They even rolled out one of Fred Trump Jr.'s childhood buddies, who was a corpse.

TIMELINE

Freidr Trumpf was an admirable man, for the most part. He ran a whore house out of his hotel, but it was the Yukon in the early 1900s, so it's not the end of the world who cares.

He left Germany at age 16 and wound up in the Washington state during a silver rush. Then he heard about the Yukon and moved to the Yukon and built a bad-arse hotel if you can imagine that.

Made a bunch of money in the Yukon and moved back to Germany to find his lady. Married a German woman and moved to New York City. Timing was solid. The federal government was throwing money around to boost housing during the Great Depression and Friedr Trumpf got in at the right time and built a bunch of houses and apartments and got rich.

I was always under the impression that Trump was Scottish, because he likes to play up his Scottish heritage because it's softer and gentler. But the truth is that Trump is German as frick.

Fred Trump was born in 1905 and he was walking down the road with his father 13 years later when Friedr Trumpf rolled over dead of the Spanish Flu.

Family goes into turmoil. Fred also was a self-made man. Hustled and built up residential properties in Queens. Had two sons - Fred Jr. and Donald. Fred Jr. was older and the heir apparent to the family company. Fred Jr. turned out to be useless however and he was kicked out of the family business and drank himself to death.

In the process he was incredibly racist and paid out of his arse to settle a housing discrimination lawsuit. Woody Guthrie wrote the song 20 years before the lawsuit.

Donald grew tired of farting around Queens and collecting rent. The family office was by the landfill and it was adorned with a bunch of cigar store Indians. So Trump made his move to Manhattan.

Trump has two mentors - his father and Roy Cohn, the psycho devil spawn lawyer who was Joseph McCarthy's counsel in D.C. Roy Cohn was the author of much of what we know as McCarthyism. This all makes sense now. Cohn understood how to generate buzz and play the media and concoct conspiracy theories and allegations.

Helluva role model.

Trump moves to Manhattan and proceeds to lie, cheat and screw people over. Makes a lot of money.
