With a little money and dignity. I did my job as a parent. Two kids with good jobs and a good future(barring this fiasco that may happen). I don’t need help. I’m ok. I am scared as shite for my kids and grandkids. They really don’t know what they are in store for. I fight a little every day with what I have control over. But if it gets down and dirty at some point, drag my arse out from where I lay. There are alot of people out there that feels exactly like I do

If the disaster does come I gotta mark you down to ridicule later.

Kudos. At least you punctuated that sentence.

Now try it in cursive.

As a wise man said recently. You can roll the folks with the guns up only so often before bad things start to happen.

Is there an asteroid or something heading this way that I missed?

I know exactly how you feel OP. Exactly how you feel. Not worried about me. Worried to death about my kids and their kids.

Yes there are. I'm one of them and in an almost exact situation. Just looking to ride it out now until the Lord comes back, aliens show up, or the asteroid hits. I'm ok with any of them.

Every generation says this shite just before they step off the world stage... “sorry we fricked it up, kids... see you in hell, if you’re lucky enough to make it there!”

I feel like you do.... My college kids don't understand what is coming. They think this is about equality. They have been so brainwashed...

Mostly they didn’t. Not really.

Some maybe. Those facing the realization of the horrors of the Russian revolution, for example.

But no American generation was so worried as the current one that the civilized world was on the verge of disintegration.

That’s because this battle is actually philosophical. The supporting belief system that united us has been fractured.

There are those who are actively sabotaging the notion of objective truth. Too many people have lost any sense of purpose in life, have lost a sense of a grand narrative. And instead, they are tearing at the fabric of society.
