My Dad went on a rant about a woman “picking up & fondling” a bunch of bell peppers at the store Monday.

I’ve been doing pickup but I just gotta say normally I’m a produce fondler myself. I don’t want wrinkly or softish bell peppers and per the op I’m fondling those avocados too sometimes I like it soft and sometimes hard depending on when I’m going to use them.

You can still be stressed and use basic common sense. We all have responsibilities and obligations, he gets no pass. Again, it’s all about personal responsibility. He failed at it.

And because of his failure to use his brain and accept responsibility, he is not helping the current situation. He is actively taking steps that help further the spread of this virus. And because of his actions, and people like him, this situation will last longer and affect more people.

And you defend this stupidity and irresponsibility. Moreover, you defend it to the point that you lose control over your emotions and common sense. This leads me to believe that you are an emotionally immature person. And I feel sorry for you.

Yes, the key being we have Corona now.

Therefore we should adjust our social behavior with basic common sense moves.

Doing so would allow us to continue our lives with less draconian measures like curfews and stay at home orders.

If people would accept personal responsibility.

You’re an angry simpleton with a big chip on his little shoulder.

Grow up.

Did you report him to his manager? You should have. If now, you should go back up there right now and do so. Hopefully, they'll fire him before he can pass on the virus to no telling how many other people.

You are the kind of person that if you weren’t such a giant raging scared pussy you would have complained to his manager. You are a complainer to management aren’t you? How often do you complain about service in a restaurant? Be honest.

Think about your graduating class in high school. Now think of the folks you graduated with at the absolute bottom of the class that made you wonder how in the hell they managed to get out of high school. Multiply that number by a few million. That’s what we’re dealing with here.

If he has a good manager then it should be taken care of.

But how will his manager know? Surely you were responsible enough to make him aware. That's just doing your part to help stop this thing.

I have to say that I am a bit surprised at how many people don’t want to accept responsibility for their own roles in affecting the outcomes of this virus. Be it the spring breakers or the people in Publix I encountered today, or others. The displays of blatant disregard...there is a kind of rebellious petulance in their behavior.

1. Wear rubber gloves when you go to the food store.

2. Clean everything you purchased off when you get home.

3. Avoid people who are coughing.

The good news is that the virus does not like food surfaces or non-hard surfaces.

Kudos to the OP. Paying attention when we are in such places is very important.

Went to a Piggly Wiggly here in Mississippi, and they were cleaning buggies before you got yours. They cleaned the conveyor after every checkout and had a line you had to stand behind until the person in front was done. I was impressed.
I just went to Micro Center to return replace a monitor. Stand in line outside, 6' apart lines taped onto sidewalks. They only allowed in fifteen customers at a time and limited purchases to only 5 items each person. 6' apart everywhere.
