I already do this at the end of the week. Not only are they asking us to submit 5 accomplishments but also how we accomplished them at a granular level. Step by step.
Are you sure they aren't building a training model with step-by-step details on how to do your job, accomplish your tasks so that they can place you?

Every business does this in some way, shape or form.
Whether it’s formal, or by software or informal discussions.

It would not surprise me if that happened. My co-workers are already talking about that.

Usually we have to send activity reports on progress of projects or task we are working on.
Def contractor. Always had to do this.

Why is accountability such a taboo request when you’re being paid to do a job?
DOGE doesn’t read the emails they use AI programs. In the private sector they will have a supervisor read them. Relying on AI programs in the private sector would be a disaster. A program can’t always determine if having 1 accomplishment is more important than accomplishing 10. If you put down reading and sending emails as an accomplishment as supervisor I would not accept that as an accomplishment. It’s just part of your job that everyone does. If you don’t do that everyday you’re going to get fired.
A friend that works for the VA sent a 5 page email on her accomplishments. I don’t think bullet points are what DOGE is looking for when it comes to accomplishments. It’s definitely not something you would email back if you want to keep your job.
Teachers using AI programs to grade assignments is an example of a program doing what would usually take hours, but now can be done in minutes. Teachers are using free AI programs from 7th through college to grade. While giving a presentation programs can determine how many words a minute that a student uses. They should be speaking 160 to 190. It will suggest a grade that should be given if they are over or under.
I’m older so I don’t like AI programs deciding who is doing their job, giving grades, deciding on which resumes I get etc….
