Meh, it's common knowledge that the scientific community as a whole has taken the position for hundreds of years that sea serpents don't exist because it is impossible for them to exist.
That's one of the reasons why the scientific community as a whole won't even consider eyewitness testimony of a close definitive sighting of a sea serpent as possibly being credible.
