Israel is in a better geopolitical spot than it has ever been. Its prospects have absolutely skyrocketed via the Israel Sunni Gulf States detente, the destruction of Hamas , Hezbollah and Iran.
Melting down about the Jews on message boards or college campuses or social media doesn’t change that.

Well, Iran's geopolitical concerns remained between the Shah and the IRGC. It is difficult to imagine any new government giving up those aims, given that those aims have been consistent features of several Iranian states going back a few millennia now. Having direct access to the Mediterranean is important enough that the Iranians will continue to pursue even if there was a secular government in Tehran.

They are in a bad place because of this foreign policy blunder. The western alliance has been weakened once again just like it was when we had the senseless Iraq war. You're a good dude. I wish you well and I don't have any ambitions of saying I'm right or you're wrong. I think long term this weakens our stance.
And unlike some people here I would love to be wrong. I'll take the L on being wrong about big consequential events every day if it means a better life for the American people. This is a fabrication of reality and I know you feel the same way. Your history suggests as much.
