I'm proud and happy that she wants to continue her husband's passion. As a mother, she will find ways to continue being the best parent. The children are young enough to be brought to Washington with her without changing their routines too much. Grandparents, nannies or whoever can give her help. She did work, so therefore, they are used to being taken care of with some sort of child care.

I honestly don't know why he won't. I know he made a campaign pledge, but you can honestly say that the voters elected Luke, Luke passed, so you will run another cyle to let someone else emerge.

I honestly don't get this, her husband was jusr buried days ago and she has two grieving kid's at home. And yet she jumps inro the ring...... for her and her family's sake i hope she loses. Not that it will happen. This is Louisiana politics at its its finest

She might have already budgeted for 2021 after she saw how rich you can get being in Congress.

I am not a fan of the idea of spouses running for a seat held by their deceased spouse. However, I cannot think of a better candidate at the moment. The democratic candidates that ran in Nov are dumpster fires, Letlow's opponent in the runoff is termed out state legislature RINO, and I will be damned if I vote for a member of the Jindal arse kissing Robertson family who only cares about Monroe and Alexandria.
