Why don't they just tell the judge to frick all the way off and simply not do it?
The video was an interview with the superintendent and the interviewer made it sound like they would be hit with a lawsuit if they didn't.

Interesting case. Understanding the procedural status may be important.
This is NOT an ex parte TRO ruling, to be in place only a week or so until a hearing on a preliminary injunction. This is a preliminary injunction ruling, which will be in place until full litigation of the case in a year or so.
Apparently, the ACLU skipped requesting a TRO, probably because they knew they would lose on a TRO ... no permanent and irreparable injury, if the books get stuck in a closet for a week.
On one hand, there is the traditional deference given to local school districts on matter of education. On the other hand, the school board is clearly abridging speech. This sort of case involves a balancing of those two, competing interests.
I haven't read the briefing, but my initial inclination is that the Judge got the balancing wrong on this one and that she should not have issued the injunction.
Figured you would chime in with your BS. As stated, a moth to a flame for any topics involving trans or current crap pushed by schools to kids. And BTW why haven't you responded to the Mahmoud Khalil thread - specifically the post by ClientNumber9 posted on 3/17/25 at 1:30 pm on that thread? You obviously have been active all day but for some reason have avoided responding to the post made by ClientNumber9.
Am well ready to expect your snarky comments. But again, why haven't you responded in the other thread to ClientNumber9's post - a thread you up to that point were actively commenting on??
What is it? Dimwit? I think that is an appropriate term for you. Poooosy also comes to mind since you brought up Jr High esque name calling. Perhaps also dipshat. After all, you initiated it.

How the frick is this in her purview to do?
If judges aren't calling balls and strikes in Constitutional questions, then they're out of their lane.
Its time to completely scrap the judiciary as it is. Congress has the power to so and so do the states via constitutional convention.
