So the ruling is “ drop due to technicality” with nothing regarding the merits

The charges will be filed again….. just means Comey and tish have to spend more money…good keep this going indefinitely…..

Against James? Yes

Against Comey? That's more complicated

I assume that "alter" means using more than one account. Sorry to disappoint you but I only have one account.

Why is your response to being wrong always insults, false accusations, and nonsensical babble? It makes you look foolish.

It is amazing that Congress can't establish a clearly written way to appoint a Special Prosecutor. This has been a cluster for 30 years now.

As in, quoted, not summarized.

Again, the courts have allowed it. Upheld it and allowed it both. It appears that it really is only allowed during times of war, but that can surely change depending on circumstances.

As far as the "normal citizen" thing you mentioned. Umm, Comey helped orchestrate a coup against the US Government. He is in no way, shape, or form a "normal citizen" and it could very well be argued that their coup attempt was an actual act of war.

Outside of times of war and/or dealing with foreign agents, when have they?

It is not a time of war and Comey is not a foreign agent.

As a US citizen not acting on behalf of a foreign government. He is also not a member of the military.

Update: it cannot

What does that have to do with Lindsey Halligan's "appointment" as US Attorney for Eastern District of Virginia?

I think THIS Comey case is gone forever. Defective indictments don't stop the statute of limitations from running. The SOL on these lying to Congress charges expired in September.

Will they charge Comey as part of an ongoing conspiracy which lasted at least through the MAL raid? I don't see how, but others seem confident. I hope it happens.

As I said, they appear to only have ever allowed it during times of war. But as I said, that can surely change depending on the circumstances. It isn't cut and dry like you make it sound.

And yes, I believe that orchestrating a coup against a government is an act of war. Your own government? Treason.

Also, it's cute how you made the declarative claim that it isn't allowed if civilian courts are available. Except, it absolutely has happened. You know this too. You're twisting your arguments because you have no honor.
