John McCain recited names of dictators during Trump's inaugural address

DES MOINES, Iowa – Sen. John McCain repeatedly compared President Donald Trump to a dictator during Trump’s inaugural address, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, a Democratic White House contender and friend of the late Arizonan, told a crowd of voters here.
Klobuchar, speaking to a crowd of more than 200 at Jasper’s Winery, said she sat next to McCain, one of Trump’s most outspoken Republican critics, and Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) during the inaugural address, which became known for its blunt expression of Trump’s authoritarian populism and invocations of “American carnage.”
“I sat on that stage between Bernie and John McCain, and John McCain kept reciting to me names of dictators during that speech because he knew more than any of us what we were facing as a nation,” Klobuchar said. “He understood it. He knew because he knew this man more than any of us did.”

I don't usually speak ill of the dead with any kind of seriousness. Usually, I'm just trolling for reactions, but I can safely say that the country is better off now that this spiteful man is no longer with us. I still hate it for his family and friends, but John McCain was a piece of shite. This whole Russian collusion investigation wouldn't have been possible if not for his actions. He helped divide and polarize the country with his behind the scenes antics. He wasn't so much a maverick as he was an anarchist. He didn't get his way so he decided to let the country burn. Screw McCain and screw his legacy.

Which explains why he fit in so well with the Democrats.

McCain should’ve been reciting the names of all the squids and marines he killed on The US Forrestal instead of disrespecting the results of a peaceful US election.
The man was a threat to our democracy.

No one acted more like a dictator than he did, going against his constituents for his own motives.
Thank GOD that fricking prick traitor is dead. He was the WORST of what an elected official can become.

This is all you need to know about McCain

Some of McCain’s acquaintances are less forgiving, however. They portray the politician as a self-centred womaniser who effectively abandoned his crippled wife to ‘play the field’. They accuse him of finally settling on Cindy, a former rodeo beauty queen, for financial reasons.

McCain was a petty, mean, and vindictive man.
He was also a calculating self promoter. When he was tarred by scandal, he reinvented himself as a reformer. When his profile shrunk too low, he became a moderate, drawing the lavish praise of a captive press.
His conduct to his first wife was deplorable, and should be remembered.
He was, ultimately, a bad person. So in love with himself that he would sacrifice anything for personal glory.

Trump has been far less tyrannical and maniacal than McCain would have been.

Trump has acted in a consistently limited and restrained fashion.
The only thing he guilty of is loud language.

Ohhhh McCain was waaaaaay worse than most realize even today.
I have witnessed his pathology first hand .... an unfortunate spillover during a funeral of a friend which McCain attended (for political purposes) as a guest of Lindsey Graham’s. I’ve typed my account a half dozen times. McCain was an absolute pathological sociopathic narcissist of the worst order.
Yeah, I too was glad to see that sonuvabitch die.

And that's really just because it's the default qualm when otherwise completely satisfied people feel pressured to come up with something, anything negative.
