He died in Cornville, AZ not Sedona.
(same county, but not the Sedona people think of)

I was dealt a 2 year ban before. Think I will keep it at that.

Now AZ can really get someone in his seat that will do the job..
Unfortunately one of his lackeys is leading the primary, running ads that paint the actual constitutional conservative as a liberal.
fricking Arizona. Sometimes I am ashamed of my adopted home state

- Old debunked rumor
Snopes
quote:
The allegation that he was a “songbird” during his captivity originated with the group Vietnam Veterans Against McCain, which distributed a flyer to media outlets in South Carolina during his 2008 campaign for the Republican Party’s presidential nomination.
The flyer reportedly referred to him as a “Hanoi Hilton Songbird,” a reference to the “Hanoi Hilton,” the nickname for H?a Lò Prison. McCain was imprisoned there between 1967 and 1973 during the Vietnam War, and was tortured by North Vietnamese troops.
The claim was roundly debunked at the time by Politifact, which cited both fellow prisoners of war and author Robert Timberg, who interviewed several POWs while writing John McCain: An American Odyssey, a biography of the senator. “I’ve never known of any occasion in which Sen. McCain provided the North Vietnamese with anything of value,” said Timberg, who died in 2016.
I don't know what it is about the South Carolina primary that brings out all those nasty allegations.
IIRC, there was one about an illegitimate child by an African American woman during the 2000 primary season.
Use your common sense on this one. His fellow ex-POWs all admired him when they were all returned. That never would have happened had he betrayed them.

You literally just made a thread saying John McCain supports isis. Why don’t you make up your mind before attacking everyone?

Actually he might have asperger's (or assholer's in his case) because he weirdly is an expert on weather related shite in OT Lounge hurricane tracking threads.

Your senses have failed you then, because he was the swampiest swamp creature in the swamp.

He lived a long life... sadly his policies, outside of military support, have hurt this country. Most recently his down vote to repeal Obamacare last year. I won't miss him as a politician.

I'll never understand people who respect Trump more than McCain.

A couple of minutes of research and you should be able to figure it out.
