I'm with you on this. I don't believe McCain honored his oath at all. As I said at the time, I didn't blame McCain one bit for being livid when Trump made his stupid statement about liking people who weren't captured, I do blame him for allowing his bile over that to affect his decisions as a Senator.

While some of the comments have been a little cringey, let’s not act like posting on an anonymous sports message board is the equivalent of speaking at his funeral or anything. Last I checked, Tigerdroppings’ Political Talk is still the second alternate to give the eulogy, /pol/ and then Donald Trump would have to drop out ahead of us.
Also, let’s not act like most of these people are this outspoken in real life and that their posts on the aforementioned sports message board reflect the real person at all. That’s just naive and gullible. The posters decrying the “shameful” ones as if any of this truly matters, as if the McCain family will somehow read this, are only adding fuel to the fire.

McCain was deep state and a huge disappointment as a presidential candidate. That being said he will no doubt be he will be missed by those who loved him. Public sentiment will be interesting.
