It won’t be the guy who supports grooming children.

I expect a GOP near-sweep. That is certainly how I will be voting.

And I think you will be surprised how few of those individuals will fall into line with your reactionary positions. Like dozens before them, they will behave in DC like normal, sensible Center-Right Republicans, and you insular little bubble will again whine that you have been deceived.

It would be one of the biggest vote against your values moves ever. But some people like to vote for the winner. So, maybe you will.

You have this backward. Cornyn is supposed to be representing those people. Not the other way around. Dumbass.

No, he represents the people of Texas. The farthest-Right fringe constitutes a rather small percentage of his constituents.

Yep. That's why he's getting boo'ed. Makes total sense. He's clearly loved and adored.

Let me make a wild stab in the dark. The far right doesn’t think drag story time in public spaces is awesome.

That is certainly true of the convention I attended. the national delegates were far more sane. I got the impression that a few of them were actively embarrassed by the state platform.

Yet, oddly he didn't campaign on enacting red flags or other gun control laws. He ran on the opposite. Odd innnit, for someone that "represents the people of Texas".

Right-leaning, small-L libertarians have historically been the third-largest contingent in the GOP coalition, behind the “RINOs” (the largest group) and the SoCons.

Trump changed that. His weird MAGA conglomerate (populist, protectionist xenophobes) are definitely in the top-3 now. I think they may have surpassed the SoCons for second place.

Letting Hank explain the will of the general GOP voter is like letting him babysit your kids.
