Powell looked like there was someone just off camera who had a gun pointed at him.

That is a little early, but I was a good Young Republican and a Bush supporter through to college. Had soured on him by then but the over the top hate rage about him there didn't make me more liberal. I'm a pretty centrist democrat. I would have voted for Haley in a heartbeat.

Edit, I guess dad was liberal when he was young but been staunch republican since I've been around

I'm more substance over style so was never really bought into the hype, I thought he ran about a decade too early but I thought he was an overall good president. would give B+. Is there a way better way to have conversations like this here?

Yea probably. You could ask something. I'm just trying to get a baseline here.

Eta
Do you know about the previous poster on Wisconsinn that was an exceptional person and universally liked? I have no opinion of you but if you feel attacked here it's probably because of him.

"Dude deserves to get fired! Wasting Billions of tax payer dollars like it grows on trees."

The renovations aren't being paid for by taxpayers, it's funded by interest from securities the Fed owns.

2 people have mentioned a previous poster... I obviously had no idea so, i'd gladly have my name changed if its in better taste and memory. You mean to tell me I'm not universally loved yet?

I don't mean to tell you anything.

What are your thoughts on gender reassignment for children?

Who pays the Fed interest?

Investors. Japan owns the most Treasuries, followed by China.

This. For real? Had no clue Japan held that much.

I'm a fan of making big decisions like that with the most time and information possible. Call it a procrastinator.

Have definitely seen a few instances of the very strange thing where children, often from a pretty young age, literally feeling trapped in the wrong body with such pain and conviction. It's hard to empathize or understand that, but it doesn't mean its not real for them. Also believe in decisions between people and professions and not politicians or majority will, but sure, I'd like to see it rarer and older than its probably been recently.

There is probably way too much exposure and getting kid to think about these feelings, because When the real deal happens, you know it.

I appreciate your openness. I find the above to be a complete lie. I don't believe for one second you know even one small child who openly and earnestly declared they were the opposite gender.

I didn't mean to say I know personally but have seen stories documented cases I completely believe to be something that a strong case could be made for drastic measures before adulthood. Like I said should be rarer than it is, but I don't believe in completely outlawing it.

Yes he did. Because he probably was.

Which, as this was a telegraphed punch, raises the question "WTF was Powell thinking?"

Powell knows this whole thing is in Trump's wheelhouse. So why in the world wouldn't Powell call in his construction "experts" rather then trying to field issues himself?
