Jeffries said in a letter to his Democratic colleagues in the House that officials are trying to confirm the “precise nature” of the transfer of videos from the attack.
“The apparent transfer of video footage represents an egregious security breach that endangers the hardworking women and men of the United States Capitol Police, who valiantly defended our democracy with their lives at risk on that fateful day,” he said.
The New York Democrat’s letter came after reports surfaced that House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) provided Tucker Carlson and his team access to 41,000 hours of surveillance footage from the U.S. Capitol around the time that the riot happened.

Did some of the 41,000 hours of video footage show him running away from protesting American citizens like a scared little coward?

Trying to generate outrage.
I get it that the material could provide criminals the locations and coverages of the cameras.
But that’s not a deterrent to someone who wants to assault the Capitol.
Imagine that criminals thought process; “it’s not dozens of heavily armed Capitol police, nor the lockdown procedures that make it difficult. It’s the damned cameras”.

You can bet your arse that’s at least a partial reason as to why they don’t want the public to see it. Kind of hard to appear high and mighty when you’re cowering under your desk, pissing yourself.

It should not have been released to Tucker.
It should have been made public to anyone who wants to watch it.
And before some dumbass says "now people will know where the cameras are in the Capitol", I would assume that just about every square inch of the Capitol should be covered by cameras. If not they need to buy some more.
