Just so we’re clear, you are of the opinion that the establishment gop members openly saying they prefer Desantis over trump means nothing?

It means nothing to me. He's not in control of who prefers him as a candidate. It's smart to have a coalition of support
Idiots like Kari Lake go out and tell people not to vote for them.

Lindsey Graham and Rick Wilson are backing Trump. McConnell said he would support Trump if he is the nominee.
Maggie Haberman of the NYT, who invented the Russian hoax 6-7 years ago, has been defending Trump against DeSantis.

ou also believe the GOPe loved trump eh?
Never said that

worked with democrats
Trump essentially did that in 2021 and in 2022. He embraced Lin Wood and Sidney Powell and bragged about how amazing they were. Wood and Powell went to GA ahead of the runoff and told GOP voters to not vote for the Republicans, therefore helping the Democrats. Had Trump never embraced them, they never would've had rallies and GA and told GOP voters to not vote.
In 2022, he told his voters not to vote for the Republican candidate for Senate ("MAGA doesn't vote for stupid people with big mouths") and then celebrated when the Democrat won.

He said he only hires and surrounds himself with the best people.
And based off of what they’ve said on Fox News and the campaign trail they were. They always had the excuse of not being able to accomplish their goals because they didn’t hold one of the branches of government. But then they got all three and didn’t do anything.

If anyone of us had 1/20th of the hiring frickups that he did as President we'd never be able to get another job ever again.
So how was he supposed to determine who was the best?
quote:
The latest example is his former Attorney, Michael Cohen, who is siding with the tranny looking whore that Trump fricked.
So because cohen flipped, that means trump is bad? Wow. It is really easy to change y’all opinions.

I'll be consistent here. We need the party to be united. We need all the support we can get. Every votes counts. I don't really give a shite if Lindsey Graham is supporting Trump in the primary, that McConnell will support him, or if Jeb is supporting DeSantis in the primary.
We need to be united. The only thing I wouldn't like is if they appeared on stage with them or spoke at the Convention. For example, if Mitt Romney had a change of heart and said he would support whoever the nominee is, whether it be Trump or DeSantis, I wouldn't care. If he spoke at the convention or appeared with them at a rally in a swing state in either the general or primary, I would not be happy.

THE ESTABLISHMENT
Rick Wilson and Lindsey Graham have gone on record saying they want Trump to win the primary. They are as establishment as it gets.

It means they hate Trump. It's as meaningful as David Duke or a skinhead saying they prefer Trump.

I'm not the one who can't comprehend the data and realize that re-nominating losers is a shite strategy and that Democrats used reverse psychology to trick people like you into backing weak General Election candidates in the primary.
You have no data. You keep repeating the same bs daily. Its a mental issue at this point with you

So if the republicans win, that all that matters. Even though when they get into office they will do absolutely nothing to hold democrats accountable and will not repeal anything.

Ms. Lake and Mr. Bolduc are among several examples of midterm meddling by Democrats who spent money in the primaries to help put Trump-endorsed “extreme” Republicans on November ballots to fire up the Democratic base and win over independents and even some Republicans weary of the former president.
Senate Majority PAC, which is aligned with Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer of New York, spent $3.2 million on ads that essentially boosted the candidacy of Mr. Bolduc
LINK
quote:
Democratic gubernatorial candidate Josh Shapiro previously defended his decision to run ads apparently aimed at boosting Republican Doug Mastriano during the GOP primary race.
Shapiro's ad called Mastriano "one of Donald Trump's strongest supporters" and the Democrat spent $840,000 on ads drawing attention to his Republican rival.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee spent $435,000 on ads promoting Gibbs during the primary, saying he was "handpicked by Trump to run for Congress."
quote:
You have no data.
They lost their races and underperformed other Republicans in their states/districts. They underperformed because they were shite candidates and alienated voters who traditionally vote Republican. That's the data.
Claire McCaskill wrote a book about how she conned morons in the GOP to vote for the one Republican she could beat.
quote:
I had successfully manipulated the Republican primary so that in the general election I would face the candidate I was most likely to beat.
So how could we maneuver Akin into the GOP driver’s seat?
Using the guidance of my campaign staff and consultants, we came up with the idea for a “dog whistle” ad, a message that was pitched in such a way that it would be heard only by a certain group of people. I told my team we needed to put Akin’s uber-conservative bona fides in an ad—and then, using reverse psychology, tell voters not to vote for him. And we needed to run the hell out of that ad.
