Vance should get his facts straight unless he is intentionally lying and simply thinks he can get away with it.
1. Militarily- the EU and the USA (as of Dec 31 of 2024) have spent an almost identical amount of money on military aid.
2. Most of the aid - including the USA aid, comes right back to the USA since it is used to be ammo, helicopters, bombs and drones and stuff like that made in the USA.
3. However there is another war cost issue. Refuges. Unlike many that come from other places Ukrainians are hard working 2/3 quickly get jobs, many of the remaining 1/3 are little kids going to school, of course an 9 year old isn't going to go drive a taxi or work in an Amazon distribution center. Europe has taken in over four million Ukrainian refuges. America has taken in 90 percent less. When you add that sum in to the overal "aid to Ukraine" picture, Europe spends much more.

I’m not even disagreeing with much or all of what he said. I don’t know if it’s right or not, but it at least largely sounds plausible and well thought out
I just find it funny the threads he chooses to pop up in. A 45 second clip on Fox News isn’t really the venue nor the amount of time needed to get into much of the minutiae he seems to want to get into

He is very articulate, level-headed and diplomatic. He will be our next POTUS. Common sense, rational people will vote for him, but because of his association with Trump, there are lunatics that will attack him just for that reason. They just can't get past it.
