re: J.D. Vance was a bad pick

A guy that grew up poor in Ohio is a lot more relatable to blue dollar workers in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin than is a guy who was born and raised, when not at a private boarding school, in New York City by wealthy parents. And Trump really needs two of those three states.
Many if not most of these blue collar workers like Trump’s message and his policies. But they don’t relate to him. I think Vance WILL pull votes from these people, especially the middle of the road union workers whose unions are pressuring them to vote Democrat. I also think he will appeal to women who just don’t like Trump personally. Vance shares many of Trumps views, and may actually be more conservative. But he at least appears to be a little softer around the edges than Trump. A LOT of women, right or wrong, just do not like Trump. But they also don’t like Kamala’s policies. I think Vance will draw some of these voters too.

I do not think Vance wins over many blue collar voters for Trump. If anything picking Vance may have cost Trump votes because the establishment wing of the Republican Party does not like Vance. If Trump wanted a VP to help him win votes or a particular state then he should have picked someone like birdbrain or a Tim Scott.

JD Vance was a terrible pick as VP. Trump needs a guy that can give him 4 good years as VP and then lead the MAGA charge in ‘28 and keep America First going. Vance just isn’t the guy to pull that off. I really wish Trump had picked a more serious candidate that could carry on the fight and solidify the things he can get accomplished in his last term as President.
This is exactly why he was picked, what a retarded take.

This type of generalization based on what people believe is their 6th sense, rather than anything of substance, is exactly why the most unfit, inexperienced, radically left, bimbo is actually in the presidential race. Dems just stick their head in the sand as it relates to the rapid deterioration of this country due to liberal agendas rotting away the very core of what this country was built on. Can’t see beyond their hatred of Trump’s personality and their delusions of democratic party altruism and sophistication.

Is give it a 50/50 shot that trump replaced him in the next couple of weeks.

You are missing the point. The VP choice this election cycle will be viewed as the leader of the party and the MAGA movement starting in ‘28. If Trump wants to make sure someone is going to finish what he starts this election cycle if he wins and carries on the MAGA movement well into the future then just picking a guy that Trump thinks is the most MAGA is not enough. The person Trump wants to set up for ‘28 has to have a legit shot to win the election in ‘28. JD Vance may very well be the best choice to take the MAGA movement forward in the future but he has no chance to win the ‘28 election. I don’t even think he can win the nomination.Vance is kind of a dry and boring guy. He will not have a record of his on to run on. He doesn’t have IT whatever IT is. He barely won his Senate race. Trump and Turtle had to spend a lot of time and money to get him across the finish line. If he can barely win a Senate race then how will he win a national election for President so he can carry on the MAGA movement? Trump could have picked a better choice than Vance and that’s just being honest.

It was a stupid choice because he brings nothing of value to the ticket other than potentially pushing away voters on the fence.
MAGA folks are voting for Trump either way, but moderates and independents are seeing Vance as the scum salesman he is and may either sit it out or vote for not Trump.
Again, I get not wanting a Pence again, but this was just an utterly stupid choice. It is on par with Trump decision making the last few years though.

Yes. Tucker is an idiot. People who think Candace Owens is a grifter but think Tucker is a legit journalist are too.

Tim Scott and Nikki Haley are from South Carolina. Trump already has South Carolina in the bag. He doesn’t need help there. He does need help in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin.
If we go down the identity politics road, you think a voter who has always voted democrat and is going to base their vote on the color of the candidate’s skin would vote for Trump/Scott over Kamala? I would think not. Everyone who says Scott would have been the correct choice is basing that some, or all, on the idea that he would pull black votes. But with Kamala being the candidate that equation changed. Plus I think Scott is more establishment than Vance. I don’t think he would be where he is without Lindsey Graham. I agree with you, the establishment has their claws in Scott. But voters who are voting “establishment” already hate Trump. They are the TDS Republicans. I don’t see them voting for Trump regardless of who his VP is.
Voters who support Trump are largely anti-establishment, drain the swamp voters. I don’t see how having an establishment VP would help him.

So basically you admit to voting identity politics. You vote with your feelings.. you vote because of the skin color.. you vote with emotions
You sound like a beta.
