Us showing that we did everything we could to avoid further escalation. We offered them a way out. We are just making it clear that we have exhausted all options before we unleash the full force and might of the US military. I have a feeling Trump is about to do some shite to them that the world has never seen.

This may have been a rope a dope strategy by Trump. Give in to a 2 week ceasefire so United States can continue to move troops and materiel into the region and allow the airmen to regroup, etc.

And get special ops in place. There has been a lot of misdirection. We will cripple them, but leave the major infrastructure in place.
