It had nothing to do with Jenkins....everything to do with Clark's financial ties.

Go on.

It's always a conspiracy amongst the SG folks. They are the most paranoid people on Earth....except for Russians.

Just look at her campaign finance reports. I believe you will find the likes of holden, possa (delgados wife) etc. And thats just the legal stuff...

Wait, wait, I read this thing earlier that is kind of applicable.
If we replace the bold word with Clark...holy shite.

Youre not making sense. One minute you are speaking of Woody Jenkins' motivation, the next you are making broad SG generalizations. If you want to debate something you'll need to be more specific.

There's no conspiracy. I have no idea how the appeals process will play out. I did however know exactly how Clark would rule, and you did too.

Yeah I don't really have to do the leg work for you. How about you jump on that and show me the big nasty.
Posted on 8/5/14 at 1:53 am to Barrymanalow
I gave you the reports. The first one I clicked had Possa as the first donor. I'm not here to baby you. I don't have her reports memorized, sorry.
Posted on 8/5/14 at 1:56 am to Sprocket46
So you got nothing. Don't go making broad generalizations. I hear that gets you in trouble if you don't have specifics.
Posted on 8/5/14 at 2:04 am to Barrymanalow
Go read the reports. You clearly haven't.
If you're goal is to defend Judge Clark, you will likely find yourself on a lonely island. I'm not going to waste my time on that one.

I'm certainly not defending her, but asking questions of you to provide evidence towards suppositions and allegations of corruption.
You are all over the place with broad strokes and asking others to look for god knows what. If you have evidence of corruption, show it. I'm not sure what I am supposed to be looking for in reports that you link. The request is stupid. Do it yourself if you want to play.

Well, turns out not being able to sleep really does help you out.
I assume you are associating campaign donations with impropriety. And that this Possa person donating to a campaign = corruption. So, I read some of Clark's reports and noticed that a lot of law firms donated to her. So I went to check Kay Bates's reports just to see if this may be some sort of pattern. Can you believe Possa donated just as much to this other judge? And that her list is dominated by law firms as well? And as luck would have it, its Joseph Possa that donated cash on these forms that I read. In full disclosure, Stephanie Possa did donate an in-kind donation of a band.
I know that campaign disclosure reports can be tricky, and that SG people don't have much experience in...doing them, but please. Learn to read.

I agree "Mafia" is an ugly word. Unfortunately, "Taliban" was already taken.
Also, Clark's corruption can't be found on a campaign finance report.

Look guys; we all know why Jenkins filed suit. It was politics. We all know why Clark threw the suit out and didn't try the case on the merits of the case. It was politics.
The bottom line in all this is the city won another round, and IF they didn't follow the law and IF they didn't follow the rules to annex property into a city; that isn't going to be adjudicated unless Jenkins wins his appeal.
Now I'm not an attorney and I don't pretend to know if Jenkins has to have cause (I think the police thing and fire thing was BS). I thought what the city did was wrong and I just wanted to know if I was right.
Meanwhile people are still signing the SG petition, and from reports I saw they have over 17,500 signatures. I hope they make their goal soon so this nonsense can stop and we can have a vote and eventually an ISD.
I know others want it stopped, but look how far this has gone. We're seeing people like Jenkins, Clark, Delgado, and Pierson on a regular basis now. People that really have nothing to do with better schools for SG. All these people want is political power or their 15 minutes of fame in front of a camera.
The issue is about schools, not woody Jenkins or Janice Clark, and like Sprocket said; the SG group didn't sue.

Thanks for the link. Clark must be a great judge. She got a donation from just about every attorney in BR. I didn't know she was so good. all I see are her reversals on appeal.

It's called paying tribute.
Some firms/attorneys have decided not to play...you want to guess how well they fare before her?

Didn't know who Janice Clark was, so i decided to google, and this is the first link i get.

Judge Janice Clark faces possible censure for ‘judicial misconduct’
quote:
The request for censure marks the commission’s fourth formal charge in 12 years against Judge Janice Clark, of the 19th Judicial District, but is only the first to be made public, court records show.
quote:
The commission said Clark’s actions “constituted an egregious legal error that rose to the level of judicial misconduct” and showed “a lack of professional competence in the law, a deviation from the high standards of conduct expected of a judge, and a failure to uphold public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary.”

I was browsing some of the campaign disclosure reports and noticed that Capitol High School made campaign contributions to candidates.
eta: never mind. That's because Capitol high was privatized.
