Nope. Drive north to Desoto County and it is a different world. I’ve lived in Hernando for 15 years and I love it. One of the fastest growing county’s in the US. No car jacking, murders etc etc. Great mayor and city council.

My parents lived in Jackson MS, met/dated and were married in Cathedral of Saint Peter the Apostle in the 50's. My older sister has a ton of their pictures from that era growing up. Jackson, MS was a great spot. Its disheartening to see what shitholes these once great cities/towns have become.
