These are the parts that are the scariest to me.

(To be clear, the draft text currently calls for the creation of the select committee, which in turn is then tasked with drafting legislation forming the “Green New Deal” itself.)

Pulling that [a 45-percent reduction in fossil fuel emissions in 12 years—RPM] off, the [IPCC] report’s summary states in its first sentence, is not possible with singular policies like carbon taxes. allowing student debt to be erased is a bad move unless everyone else who paid off these loans gets the same deal. this is not doable.
medicare for all a bad deal. see for example how poorly is the VA system.
not having an honest leader is a bad deal too regardless of policy.
so, we are screwed with bernie, aoc, warren and donald. we need better options.
