A government of laws not men, protects everyone.
The converse protects no one. I won't be surprised when they come after me and the rest of the conservatives. But the members of the left will be shocked and dismayed when it is their turn. This all ends with tears for everyone. It will be like North Korea soon.

An armed citizenry would not only have a fighting chance; but it would be heavily stacked in there favor since the logistical problems alone would kill the govt.
1) we should just give up since the govt has drones? Lmao. That’s why Al Quida, the Islamic State, and the Taliban aren’t around anymore. Right? Air superiority isn’t a deciding factor against a guerilla insurgency.
2) The govt already has power. So, them having power is a mute point. They already have power.
3) King George III was a dick. And we fought against the greatest military and won. If that’s not a solid enough concept for you, than I don’t know what is.
Of course, there was the French Revolution , the October Revolution where the Bolsheviks overthrew there govt and bringing the communists to power. Both examples prove true that a govt can and has been overthrown by their people.

4) The left feels and has proven their hate time and time again for our military, that they are incapable of thought. To those who think that all of the US military would heed the call and attack their fellow citizens is beyond thought.
There will be those who fight. And those who leave their post to fight against. That the insurgents would be fighting the ENTIRE might of the US military is absurd. You are no longer fighting the AR-15 owner; but you are fighting experienced soldiers that would have taken every weapon they could put their hands on while defecting, which deals with the drone problem. Many defectors would have prudent info about US assets which would be a danger to the US govt and could deliver to US enemies. Lmao.
5) This wouldn’t be your mom and dad’s proxy war delivered to you by the Middle East! Lmao. This would be a complete mind frick. It would become a NATO vs whoever wants to frick with Merica! And you could bet that Russia (trigger warning) would definitely deliver surface to air heat seeking missles to the rebels.
6) The media. Every rebel killed would be broadcast all over the world.
“The number of rebel forces today by the US Govt today in Nashville is 17.” Says the world stage. And given our propensity to kill civilians in other countries; we would have no global sympathy.
7) The US power grid is vulnerable. A few former or current military marksman will hit it and it will be over. This fricks the govt’s propaganda and fulfilling the need of its citizens, making them more angry at the govt; and military more than the rebels. The power grids are basically unguarded today. Didn’t think about that did you?
8) back to the logistical nightmare. LA, SF, DC And NY would be the most easiest to cut off. Those are the 4 biggest left wing cities in the country. Cut off from water and the biggest airports; They WILL starve since most of the food is grown in Red states. Blue states will starve while the Federal Govt that you worship so much will be on the wrong side of the choke points.
10) the US will NEVER nuke its own. If it did, than the other nations of the world will come to their aid from a progressive regime. And good luck if a rebel submarine captain decides to launch a nuke into DC. Then, the govt is shite out of luck.
So, keep posting with your smugness like you did during the 2016 campaign. Keep your hubris and desire to out a duly elected president, simply, because he hurts your “feels.”
And PLEASE underestimate what this movement can accomplish.

Trump won't cause it. What will cause it is when eventually, the right finally recognizes that it had nothing to do with Trump

Once Trump leaves office whenever that is, this reality will be laid bare as nothing will change. In fact, the left will up the ante.
