Sundance presents indisputable analysis about the CIA's role in many, not so good, government debacles.
There is more to the article that I didn't paste. If your interested in the intelligence agencies role in frickery, it's worth reading the rest of the article.

The CIA is just a manifestation of the will of the non-elected power structures (corporate interests/lobbyists, globalism, bureaucracies, etc).
If the non-elected powers are addressed the CIA and other similar institutions would go back to mostly enacting the will of the elected officials and therefore to some degree acting in the furtherance of the will of the people.
Until then nothing will change.
The CIA function isnt the problem, but a symptom IMO just like the DOJ and FBI.
The people and interests directing its function are the problem and what we complain about to a large degree is just a reflection of that underlying issue.

What the CIA did for the growth of cancer should scare the hell out of everyone. Now, toss in what the CIA has done for the illegal drug cartels.....

I agree to a certain extent. I believe much of what the corrupt part of the intelligence communities do is not so much directed by elected congress memebers but more so by ultra rich corporate entities that have one single purpose: TO INCREASE PROFITS.
The CIA has been used in the past to manipulate and capitulate foreign governments or influence to the benefit of huge corporate interests.
Trump's latest National Security Strategy and his MAGA vision is in direct opposition to corporate America.

I watched a video(maybe this same one) about this subject. Unbelievable and disgusting corruption.
Another one, not so much involving the CIA, but Big Pharma using the FDA and Texas Medical Board against Dr. Burzynski in Houston TX.

To hold the CiA accountable only a national state of emergency, surrounding HQ then entering and seizing all past and present top operators and their com equipment would maybe, do anything. Even then upon being approached they may set off a nuke and a war somewhere. Yes. They have access to their own.

Great post Lake Chuck, I believe the CIA has become one of the most Anti-American organizations on the planet.
I believe they control elections here in the US and work to subvert Presidents who don’t align with their worldview… including Kennedy, Nixon, Reagan and Trump.
I think th CIA should be broken into ten thousand pieces and scattered to the wind.
