It's Mueller time: DC bars prepare for Wednesday's hearings

Duffy's Irish Pub in D.C.’s H Street NE neighborhood will play host to a watch party as former special counsel Robert Mueller testifies before Congress on Wednesday.

"We will have eight large flatscreen TVs with stadium surround sound tuned in to the Mueller Show," the bar said in an email.

"Come try our new 'Bloody Mueller' cocktail only available for this event," the message said. Organizers are "highly encouraging" Mueller viewers to sport "creative attire" as they watch the happenings before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees.

At the Midlands, a beer garden in Petworth, coffee, juices and hibiscus tea will be available starting at 8:30 a.m., when Mueller is poised to begin his testimony. Later in the morning, the Georgia Avenue establishment will serve drinks and dole out custom "It's Mueller Time" coozies for any can or beer bottles purchased. LINK
