Remember when he said enforcing the immigration laws and getting tough on immigration would lead to "self deportation" and would deter many illegals from trying to come illegally in the first place?

I don't think its the enforcement. It's just the rhetoric.

All it took was some mean words to deter more than 50% of illegals from 'desperately fleeing places that they were going to be killed at'.

He would have been a very good president I think. Also, don't know why he didn't run in this election.

Remember when he was mocked for it?

Again, he was 100% right.

Is there evidence for this? Or are you just stating it to be true?

Better POTUS than Trump as well, easily.

Does he know his stuff about healthcare too? Because he basically invented Obamacare.
He implemented his healthcare plan for his state of 6 million people. Different states have different needs, different levels of poverty, different numbers of uninsured, etc.

For his state, his plan worked well. Trying to take that and fit it across the country for 320 million people is a TOTALLY different thing.

Mitt Romney did not even agree with Romneycare as a country-wide solution.

"Illegal immigration across the southwest border is down more than 60 percent so far under President Trump, officials revealed Tuesday

Testifying to the committee in a first hearing Tuesday, former Border Patrol Chief David V. Aguilar said the percentage may be even higher than Mr. Trump teases. Compared with 2016, he said, apprehensions on the southwest border were down 67 percent through March."

Apprehensions are down, so that means illegal immigration is down. That's some flawed logic. Maybe the coyotes are getting smarter. No way to prove any of that.

Illegal immigrants in the U.S. are down to 10.9 million... at its lowest point since 2003.

This has been in the news lately. You should know this, and you would have done your own google search if you were skeptical.

But you weren't honestly asking. You were looking to argue.

All I did was make a point about how their logic is flawed.

You think he would stop the Casper milquetoast shite after being elected?

Schumer would be helping him pick Scotus justices

If you're going to put forth a hypothesis to rebut that hypothesis, you're going to need to provide some evidence. Otherwise, you're just howling at the wind.
