Mueller does not want to be asked the question by a R-Senator “When did you know there was no collusion?” And the follow up “Why did you not end the investigation when you made that conclusion?”

If he goes against the Dems narrative they’ll just attack him and try to destroy his credibility as well. Remember “he’s a republican”? They’ll remind you in case you forgot.

Exactly. Nadler et al likely dont really want Mueller to testify and have things unambiguously cleared up. Just as with Barr. There are some pretty effective GOP "questioners" on Oversight that would wreak havoc on generic Dem talking points and create some excellent headlines. Excellent for Trump et al, not so much for the bsd guys.

Mueller is going before the committee and do the weatherman crap. Meaning he'll say its 99% chance of no rain but the dems will then claim its going to pour because of the 1%. Mueller wanted the report to cast shadow and he'll continue to do so.

That's all the dems have now. Cast a shadow on the investigation and discredit Barr. It will be glorious when the indictments roll in on those who pushed this coup attempt.
