It’s A Miscarriage Of Justice To Let Fani Willis Keep Prosecuting Trump

Fani Willis and the Fulton County D.A.’s office now have a personal stake in prosecuting the defendants who exposed Willis’s affair.

Fani Willis and the Fulton County district attorney’s office can remain in charge of the prosecution of Donald Trump and his Republican co-defendants so long as Willis’s former lover resigns, presiding Judge Scott McAfee ruled Friday.

Within hours of the decision, Nathan Wade—now Willis’s ex—exited the case. While McAfee declared that half-measure solved the problem of an “appearance of impropriety,” the court’s reasoning established that true justice requires the removal of Willis and the entire Fulton County D.A.’s office.

I'll wait for SlowFlowPro's principled, expert take before I make a determination on this.

It was a miscarriage of justice when the dumb rabid commie invented false charges.

I agree. The COI, misconduct, and perjury are clear. The state needs to act immediately.

The judge tried to split the baby, but all he ended up doing was ensuring that if this case ever does go to trial (which is a big IF), and if it results in any convictions (an even bigger IF), it will be overturned on appeal.

I'm still trying to figure out how "the smell of mendacity" applies to only one of the lovers.

This. It takes two to tango and as long as Fulton County DA office is in any way involved, the impropriety is still there.

A travesty. Judge is protecting himself as well as his former boss.

But, this will backfire. The Fani saga will continue to be in the news, as additional investigations will reveal her actions. I think it ultimately gets her removed and possibly disbarred. Even if it doesn’t, the damage is done with regards to the case against Trump. This will be an albatross around her neck moving forward.

I hope the next time Ms. Willis walks outside she gets split in two by a bolt of lightening.

Would be even better if it was a beautiful cool day with blue skies and no clouds. Just boom, and its all over.
