High profile, nationally televised interview... Trump is asked point blank, in plain view, to disavow David Duke's endorsement. He wouldn't do it.

Trump is a known racist, and his real estate dealings as cited by the DOJ proved it twice; this is fact, and anyone who denies it is either ignorant or a liar, but the idea that he didn’t disavow Duke is fake news. He’s done so several times before and during the 2016 campaign.

I see a few people who are insecure were triggered by your post, but if they just got their facts straight and operated on facts instead of their feelings, they could have corrected you regarding Duke.

The word racist is a "dog whistle" for low info types to unite and screech

When you have nothing else, accuse of being racist. That's the prog way

Where are those thousands of employees that have worked for him over the years - a large percentage of which are minorities - claiming ANYTHING racist about the man?

Why was he never a racist (and in fact a celebrated philanthropist that won many awards for his minority causes) before he ran for office against Hillary in 2016?

Will 1973 do?

When the Trump organization was cited by the DOJ back in the 70s, Trump was an employee working for his father and not in charge or making those decisions.

Regardless, it was nearly 50 fricking years ago.

Really? 1973?

Will 1989, when he was actually head of the company and not under his father, do?

Nice rebuttal.

Just admit it, you took the L just then. Any emoticon-only reply is a concession of defeat. Good day sir.

Proof that Donald Trump was involved at all?

You posted a link where he denies any knowledge of it and he was never personally cited.

See Mr. Cyborg's post right above yours.

It was also 45 years ago. There should be plenty of legit examples out there between now and then, right? Do you not realize how desperate a 45-year-old story makes you appear?

And where are the thousands of current and former employees of his saying anything racist - or bad whatsoever - about him? You didn't touch that one.

The answer to your question as to how we stop it can be found by looking no further than people like BamaAtl.

He/she truly believes
quote:

The Republican Party could stop supporting racist policies and openly racist candidates / groups.

with no supporting evidence and is 100% disinterested in believing otherwise.

Learn how to force unemotional, honest debate. Idea vs idea with a legitimate desire to find a common ground. None of us here are racists. We all want what's best for the country.

Start with respect and take it ONE small step at a time.

I haven’t spent a lot of time trying to prove Trump is racist. I know of that story, and it’s something you’d have to be incredibly racist to do. He’s a known racist, and that is proof. I’m not desperate to prove or disprove anything about him. He doesn’t own me like he owns this boards Trumpy Cubs and his most vehement haters on the left.

The first time the Trumps were cited by the DOJ was in the 60s whe DJT was in college and did not work there.

The second time was in 1973 when Trump was young and just out of college and had only been working there a few years.

They were never cited for anything even remotely similar in the nearly 50 years since.

Sounds like DJT changed the culture there when he took over.

He should be applauded.
