for her to spend her day explaining things to Senators that they should have learned in High School Civics.
We have morons leading us. If we allow this to continue, they will lead us off the cliff.

One of the Senators asked her to hold up the notes she was speaking from. It was a blank pad.

They asked her what notes she had with her and she held up the blank pad in response. Not sure they realized she was answering all their questions with detailed answers solely from memory.

Correct. It was Senator John Cornyn. He wanted to point out her impressive memory and knowledge. He knew the answer.
