Trump cannot go to the media and just lay it out and have it reported accurately.

He’s going to make one of the zealots call his bluff or blow up in anger where they will actually lay out the case against themselves.

The House has such a hard on for documents the WH won't release.

Part of me wishes they had set them up and all the comms were discussions of the corruption of Congress and the evidence to support...with the last email being from Trump (who doesn't use email-HAHA) and reading, "if you've made it to this email, you've read it all. Gotcha suckas."

Like when Schitt essentially made up what was said on the Trump/Zelenksy call, only for Trump to release the contents of the actual call.

What happens if trump waltzes into the senate with a bag full of evidence? Dems couldn’t stop it?

I hope he is the only one laying traps:

Maybe that's code for "I'll cut your balls off?"

WTG Linsey, I like how you disarm him with your kindness. I await your dismantling of him soon.

Right Lindsey? RIGHT!?

It's not at all unusual for an attorney to compliment an opposing/adverse attorney's presentation. It understandably draws double-takes. But not much of anything to that in the pics, IMO.

I know, but it has become increasingly bad to display this sort of comradery in front of your client, especially where your client is the American people and opposing counsel is attempting to overthrow the government through deceptive and corrupt means.

That's a completely valid point. This type of thing is usually done out of view, so as to avoid misperceptions and just an unsavory look. I agree with that.

Sarge. Do you really need to have this explained to you?

I will explain, but I know you to be one that has difficulty understanding a lot. I’ll do it. But there’s no need when 99% have the wherewithal to understand.

Not even trolling. Just seriously asking if you need laymen’s.

The other thing that people don't get is they all like each other more than they like us. We get in the way.

Eh the senate is generally more mild than their excessively partisan house colleagues. No reason to ditch civility especially when the defense gonna run roughshod on the egregious house managers.
