In a nutshell Abraham had two sons. Isaac and Ishmael. Ishmael was born out of wedlock from a servant years prior to Isaac being born from Abraham's wife Sarah. After Isaac was born the servant and Ishamel were eventually cast out from the family by Sarah. The two sides and descendants have been fighting ever since.
Isaac's bloodline is where Jesus descends from. Ishamel's bloodline is where Muhamad descends from. If history has taught us anything it's that these people have been fighting off and on for centuries and will continue fighting until the end of time.

The middle eastern Muslims come from Esau not Ishmael but close.
Edit should say middle eastern Arabs come from Esau. They were granted the land of Edom. Jacob was granted the land of Israel.

I’m not reading your drivel, you anti Catholic heretic.
You don’t have to read it skip over and go back to your paganism. Tradition over scripture, right? You do you and I’ll do me. Catholics are Catholics… Christians are Christians. I’ll leave it at that

We’re about to beat Auburn’s arse like we did the Protestants back in 1517.

U are correct sir - I used to lean more towards the post-millennialist view as most of the events in Revelations have already occurred - but the pre-mil view of the anti-Christ coming and the ridiculous “rapture” theory is pure fantasy and is just to sell books to gullible people
I guess I am one of those gullible people that believes the ridiculous rapture theory.
Funny thing is you have to ignore or explain away a lot of scripture to believe your way.
I don’t buy books and stand on the totality of scripture, letting the Bible interpret the Bible.

Maybe you can celebrate like the “Catholics” celebrated when they killed over 1 million Christians during the Crusades. But but but the Pope is infallible. he’s the vicar of Christ. He’s God on earth blah blah blah. And someone called a Protestant a heretic.

Let me expound on this comment from myself a little more. Both Jewish and Muslims say Arabs come from Ishmael. Why you ask? Well since Ishmael was essentially a bastard born of a servant would take less legitimacy of claim to the “promised land” in a Jewish perspective. From the Islamic perspective it comes from the first born of Abraham essentially trying to say anything of Abraham should have rightly gone to Ishmael. Hagar was from Eqypt. When cast out of the “family” surely she wouldn’t have went to Syria. She would have returned to Egypt. Egyptians are not Arabs.
Why I say they came from Esau. Jacob was granted the Promise land. Esau was granted Edom. Which was just outside southern Israel. Edomites were Arabs that spread into the Saudi Arabian peninsula. Either way the Jews and Arabs are cousins that were prophecized to essentially always fight.

I’m rubbing my St. Micheal medallion my mother gave me right now. You don’t want this smoke.

Nero was the beast. The whore of Babylon was pagan Rome. The book primarily foretold the destruction of the Jewish temple in the 70s AD. The Rapture doctrine is the result of 19th century dispensationalism, and is almost entirely specific to American evangelicalism. Foo summed it up nicely

I’m sure his dead body in the ground will reply back to you. Same as Mary’s.
Bring it if you want it but I don’t think you really do. I know as much about the good bad and ugly of the Catholic Church as you do. But the issue is I know the Bible as well. You don’t. So game on if you wish

Yeah you’re really destroying me in debate here. Talking about Auburn and LSU game. Posting pics of of someone on a computer. Weird tactic.

There’s no debate to be had. We joke about cults here often, but you may actually be in one. Your obscure interpretation of “the Bible” isn’t worth debating.

The mid east will be stirred up significantly (biblically) that might be 1000 years from now or this might be it. Bible says no one will know the hour, so time spent is waisted

Well we certainly have a False Prophet in place right now.

So you just accept another man’s interpretation of the Bible. As dogmatic but not mine. Oh that’s right he’s God on Earth. Proclaimed and agreed with Catholics that he has the same power as God the father. Is himself God on earth. But I’m in the cult. I worship one man. Jesus. He was God in the flesh. No other is equal or can even pretend or claim according to scripture. So how many popes do yall claim that is Jesus on earth? Seems pretty cultish to me.
What fallacy have I proclaimed? Oh you don’t agree with my Bible? lol ok. I was once Catholic. I have a catholic approved Bible they pretty much say the exact same things. Very few differences. Maccabees isn’t in most Protestant bibles. But most scholarly Bible believers know about the Maccabean revolt. The Catholic Church takes no dogma from Maccabees or any of the other books left out of the Old Testament in what you would call a Protestant Bible. That’s why I like the e-sword site. It gives you the English, Hebrew, and the Greek. You can study each word for the actual meaning. Probably too advanced for a non bible reader. You could always google what the Catholic stance is since that’s where you find your salvation by asking the priest to forgive you, or praying to Mary to ask Jesus, or following a sinful man who you claim is infallible. I know my pastors are sinners. They claim they are sinners. We all are but luckily for me Jesus did everything for me to make it to heaven. Not one thing I can do other then have faith in what he did will get me to heaven. God bless you and hope you do your own study
