all the major media outlets push a narrative. journalism is pretty much dead. they don't give a shite about giving unbiased news to you or me. they spin everything to what their viewers want to hear. you might think there is a war on christians and christmas from watching fox and then after turning to cnn you might think that the gays are going to be put in camps. the hard right/hard left doesn't realize that they are guilty of most of the crap they accuse the other side of.

If you mean they're completely in the tank for whatever the President (or R party, GOPe or not) says or does like literally all the other media outlets are for the Dems? Absolutely not.
You want an example of "state run media" look at CNN, NYT, WaPo, etc. in the 1990s and 2008 to 2016.
