This thread happens every election cycle, and Texas never changes.

it will be interesting to see if the hispanics who voted for trump will continue to vote for republicans. they redrew the congressional districts and it will be interesting to see if republicans can win the hispanic districts. i have my doubts.

It could happen, but I have been reading about this for about 20 years and it hasn’t happened yet. One thing to remember is that demographics does not always and forever equal political destiny. White Southerners used to vote Dem, now they don’t. The most highly educated used to vote R, now they vote D. I could go on and on.

The state GOP is possibly the most traitorous backstabby bunch of RINOs anywhere in the country. Two consecutive state house speakers were installed by forming a coalition with dems and ruling out any actual conservative becoming speaker. Dems are given committee chairmanships over republicans in this “republican controlled” house. Words can’t express my level of disgust towards these vile POSs.

Abbott is 100% hat and zero cattle. Normies love him because he’ll make all kinds of tough MAGA statements but then in reality never implements what he says.

TX isn’t close to turning blue yet, but our politicians are trying to destroy it from within

Asians will push certain counties permanently blue. Fort Bend is one of them. Indians and Chinese aren't fiscally conservative, at all.

With so many people leaving liberal states it’s possible North Carolina, Arizona , Nevada , Pennsylvania and maybe Michigan turn red .

California has enough DEM population to send out to other states to flip 5-6 red states and still remain solidly blue.
