Because that takes it from something the West is willing to tolerate and feed, to something much more important than Ukraine to the West. If they can't get us to stop Ukraine when it's just Ukraine under threat they will be much more receptive to stopping this once he's got troops standing in NATO territory.
We never should have done the Maidan Coup. Victoria Nuland should be put on trial for crimes against humanity for starting this shite.
